Before we begin, we'll agree with you exactly what's being kept, what's being passed to named relatives, and what's being cleared. We work room by room, photographing as we go where it helps, and we keep a written record of significant items removed — useful for probate valuation and estate accounts.

Can you value items as part of a probate clearance?
We can identify items of likely value and advise on whether they warrant a formal probate valuation, but we're not qualified valuers. For high-value estates we'll flag anything that should go to a specialist valuer before we clear, so nothing is overlooked.
How quickly can a bereavement clearance be arranged?
We'll work to your timetable. Some families want the property cleared promptly; others need weeks. Once you give the go-ahead we can usually attend within a few days, and we'll never pressure you to move faster than feels right.
What happens to sentimental items you find?
